The Chapel dates from the 18th Century and was originally the place of worship for the community of Wadeford. After many years of service it was subsequently converted into the community hall of the hamlet and then after a short period of inactivity was fully restored to a private residence.
It maintains many original features including three large stain glass windows along each side of the chapel, a walled courtyard, numerous items of antique furniture, beamed ceilings and an exceptional circular clover leaf window in the master bedroom. Recently installed 11kw multi/fuel burner provides excellent fuel efficiency as does a brand new thermostat controlled condensor combi boiler. A short drive to Chard, it is also well placed for Taunton, Exeter and the A303 connecting to London. A drive to the south coast is no more than 25 minutes.
